Artistic and thought-provoking music videos

So here is a collection of music videos that I find “interesting”, for obvious reasons. I really appreciate music videos that are more than just complementary to the music. I think that too many music videos now days has become all about making stuff “look cool”, and that is OK. As long as that is not the only aspect of the video. To me it is really important that the video is connecting and conveying a message. If I do not learn anything from the video it does not really make an impression on me. I realize most of these videos are somewhat provocative or controversial and to me that is not a bad thing. I believe that, in art in general, pushing the boundaries for what is acceptable or conventional is necessary to push the mind out of it’s comfort zone.
